The hotel’s signature restaurant in Abu Dhabi, 18°, combines authentic culinary creations with captivating panoramic views of the city. The design of the restaurant’s dining room is sophisticated and modern with a spacious seating style featuring traditional and high bar tables, booth seating and an outdoor terrace.
Using simple flavours to enhance the inherent freshness of locally sourced produce, 18° offers specialty dishes inspired by the gastronomic heritage of the Eastern Mediterranean, including Italy, Greece, Turkey, Syria and Lebanon. Three show kitchens with interactive counters add to the theatrical “mise en scene” of the restaurant, while seasonally changing menus ensure innovative selections are always on offer. Located on Hyatt Capital Gate Abu Dhabi’s 18th floor, the restaurant also offers a Friday brunch in Abu Dhabi on par with the very best in the capital city.

Michéle Müller is the executive sous chef at Hyatt Capital Gate Abu Dhabi. Michéle is a part of the Hyatt family and has transferred from the Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel and Villas where she was part of the pre-opening culinary team since September 2011.
Michéle brings with her over 17 years of experience, she is in charge of the food and beverage outlets at Hyatt Capital Gate which include the award winning 18 Degrees, Profiterole, Privé, The Lounge and the Pool Bar. With her expertise she will spear head the teams to ensure top quality products, create unparalleled dining experiences and exceed guest expectations.
At just 16 years of age she started her career as a chef in Germany, and followed this with work experience in Switzerland, Italy, Ireland and Qatar, where she cooked for several dignitaries and personalities to mention a few are President Obama, the Emir of Qatar and Mick Jagger.
